Terms and Conditions
- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the draw is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
- Entry into this promotion is open to all Australian residents who are aged between 18 years and 80 years (inclusive of 18 and 80). Employees of mcm syndication and their immediate families, associated agencies of mcm syndication and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
- Each weekday at 6:25pm on The Jonathan Coleman Experience, a competition spot will air prompting listeners born in a specific month (the month matching that which is contained in that day’s sealed envelope) to call 1300 88 98 35 for a chance to win. The 10th caller through who was born in the specific month mentioned on each day of the competition will have the opportunity to play “Jono and Julia’s $100,000 Birthday Game”. For each execution of the game, the producer of The Jonathan Coleman Experience will have a sealed envelope containing a random month, day and year. If the caller’s birth month matches what has been called out (and thus matches what is in the envelope), they will win $100 cash. If the caller’s birth month and day matches what is contained in the sealed envelope they will win $1,000 cash. If the caller’s birth month, day and year matches the sealed envelope they will win $100,000 cash.
- The cost of calling the 1300 number is charged at a local call rate and will not exceed $0.55 incl GST. Higher rates from mobiles may apply.
- Entrants may enter as many times as they like. However, only one prize per household will be awarded (SA residents are entitled to win more than one prize).
- The competition commences on Monday 29 September 2008 at 18:25 PM (AEST) and closes on Friday 12 December 2008 at 19:00 PM (AEDT). However the entry into each daily competition will commence at 18:25 PM and end once caller 10 has been reached. The competition will occur once per day on weekdays only.
- Each weekday (for 11 weeks / 55 days) there will be maximum of $100,000 on offer. The total maximum prize pool is valued at $5,500,000.
- All winners will be notified in writing and winners of prizes valued over $100 will have their details published in the public notices section of The Australian Newspaper on Wednesday 29 October 2008, Friday 28 November and Friday 19 December 2008 for any winners up to that date.
- Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
- mcm entertainment and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. Once prizes have left Promoter's premises, the Promoter will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of prizes.
- The promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit their prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
- All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent. Entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
- If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to state permit regulation.
- In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.
- Any person who within 365 days prior to the day on which the mcm Entertainment competition first commenced and has won a prize in value which is greater than or equal to $100 from another mcm promotion is not eligible to enter.
